About Us

Derek Eakin Limited was first established in 1980 launching on the Irish market as a clothing distributor specializing in school uniforms and corporate clothing. Our business has developed over the years enabling us to develop our customer base to include retailers, embroiderers and screen printers. Since our establishment we have developed to such an extent that we now pride ourselves as a principal player in the Irish market.

To facilitate our storage and display Show rooms, we have a large spacious warehouse of over 30,000 sq. ft. Customers have the choice of viewing our extensive clothing range by visiting our warehouse or alternatively they may be more suitably accommodated by making an appointment with one of our sales representatives

Service

• While we aim to have full stocks available at all times, out of stock issues may occur.

• We appreciate that each school requires individual attention and to facilitate this we offer a personalized service for every customer.

• Assistance is given in relation to the complete design of the uniform, including colour, style, stripes and crests.

Delivery

• We use a courier service and together we endeavour to achieve next day delivery.

• Every effort is made to despatch goods the same day as ordered.

• Orders exceeding €200 (excluding VAT) will be delivered without charging carriage fee.

• No carriage charged on back orders.

Embroidery

We offer an excellent, fast and efficient embroidary service which means we can customise your choice of clothing with your logo or corporate identity. This is becoming a very popular option as it is an ideal and cost effective way of reinforcing your brand with your customers.

Some of our clients who have in the past availed of the service include AA Auto check, Mercedes, Manvik, Kingspan, Denis Eagle, Avtec.

Embroidery is now completed in-house and therefore can be turned around quite quickly, minimum order 6 pieces. Delivery is 5 working days except from mid July to end of August, when we allow additional working days due to seasonality of business. The cost of embroidery depends on the stitch count of the design. There may be a once off set-up charge.

 

Printing

This is another service we offer to compliment our range.

Returns

All plain stock garments are only accepted if the return has been authorised and is subject to a minimun 10% restocking charge.
